A 21 year old man is now charged with the attempted murder of two Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies.
Officials say Angel Aviles opened fire on the deputies as they tried to arrest him during an argument with his girlfriend at her Streamside Drive home in Tampa.
The deputies returned fire, hitting Aviles in the legs.
He was treated and released from the local hospital and carted off to jail.
