President Obama announced Wednesday that he’s instructed Secretary of State Kerry to immediately initiate discussions with Cuba on the re-establishment of diplomatic relations with Cuba.
His announcement came just hours after the release of Alan Gross, a U.S. government contractor imprisoned for five years.
