British Reaper Drones Carry Out First Attacks Against ISIS

British forces have conducted their first drone attack on ISIS militants in Iraq. It was part of a series of coalition missions conducted near Bayji, north of Baghdad, where extremists were planting improvised explosive devices.

British defense officials say an unmanned aircraft known as a Royal Air Force Reaper ‘successfully attacked terrorists using a Hellfire missile. About five Reapers previously based in Afghanistan were recently deployed to Iraq and are piloted remotely by RAF personnel in the area.
