British Reaper drones will be flying missions over Syria to gather intelligence on ISIS. That’s the word from British Defense Secretary Michael Fallon, who says they’ll be starting operations ‘very soon.’ He tells members of parliament that the drones are to gather intelligence.
They are not, he says, authorized to use any weapons systems in Syria. That, he says, would require further permission – A move that would deepen its involvement in the campaign against the Islamic State.
