This 3-year-old by has spent plenty of time waiting. Both his mother and father have served in the National Guard and neither parent has been home with the other for a third of this kid’s life, KARE11 reports.
While his mother was returning home from Afghanistan, she was standing in formation with her company. They boy, Cooper Waldvogel, ran up to her and hugged her, which broke protocol. But he didn’t care.
