An 8-year-old boy from Indiana on vacation with his family to Central Florida was bitten by a shark.
It happened in knee-deep water off the boardwalk of Indialantic when he was attacked.
“He screamed, and when I turned around to look at him, he was down in the water gripping his leg,” his mother Michelle Jarman told WESH.
Aadyn Crick said the shark knocked him down twice. It bit off part of his knee and as of Tuesday, he was still in the hospital.
Doctors say he will make a full recovery. Aadyn says he isn’t planning on going into the water any time soon.
