A bomb squad is at the Lakeland Square Mall where a suspicious device was found Thursday afternoon on an access road leading into the mall.
Authorities say the device is a round foil ball with wires sticking out of it, and they say it is beeping.
The mall entrance, which is near Pier One and Rooms to Go, has been shut down.
People are urged to simply stay away from the area until officials determine it’s safe to come back.
