There’s been a major break in a double fatal hit and run on the Clearwater Memorial Causeway Sunday night.
Police have hauled away a Mercedes SUV with front end damage from a Lynn Lake Circle home.
The vehicle looks very similar to the one captured on surveillance video at the scene of the crime.
Police had to get a warrant to seize the SUV because the owner would not let them into his garage to look at it.
No arrests have yet been made.
Even if it is the vehicle involved in the two pedestrian deaths of a Chicago couple, police are sure who was driving yet.
