Tampa, Florida– Due to Tropical Storm Isaac, several Bay area county schools will close their doors Monday, Aug. 27.
Public schools in Hardee, Highlands, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough, Hernando, Polk and Sarasota counties are among those that will be closed.
Private schools who have announced closures and cancellations for Monday include:
Academy Lakes in Pasco
Oldsmar Christian School
Sunstate Academy
Shorecrest Preparatory School of St. Pete
Esther’s School in Pinellas and Pasco counties
Northside Christian School and Preschool
Marcia P Hoffman Performing Arts Institute at Ruth Eckerd Hall cancels Jazz Audition as well as private lessons scheduled after 3 p.m. Monday
Anona Child Development Center in Largo
Land of Learning Academy in Tampa
Berkeley Preparatory School in addition to all athletic events and on-campus meetings; campus closes to visitors Sunday at 4 p.m.
Victory Christian Academy School and Preschool
