Arunya Found Guilty

After more than six hours, the jury found Arunya Rouch guilty Thursday night.

Rouch was accused of murdering her former Publix co-worker in 2010.

Rouch was found guilty on all counts, including 1st-degree murder, two counts of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated assault.

She showed no emotion as the verdict was read, but she rocked back and forth after it was read. The judge sentenced Rouch to life in prison
following the verdict.

Rouch was accused of murdering Gregory Janowski after she was fired from the Tarpon Springs store in March 2010.

Her lawyers believed Rouch, then 41, was insane at the time of the murder.

Rouch’s attorney chose not to give a closing argument.
