Arsonist Targets Pasco Sheriff’s Deputy’s House

A 30 year old man is in jail for trying to set the house of a Pasco County Sheriff’s deputy on fire overnight.

Police say Daniel Hall stormed out of his Hudson home after an argument with relatives.

He had apparently decided he wanted to get arrested, so he started breaking into cars.

That’s when he came upon the deputy’s home with his marked patrol car parked in the driveway.

Hall then tried to set patio furniture on fire.

The deputy came out, and Hall was arrested.

Authorities believe Hall only targeted the deputy’s house because he saw the patrol car there.
