Army Used Alcohol, Women To Recruit Football Players

The U.S. Army has disciplined 20 cadets for promoting underage drinking and has self-reported an NCAA recruiting violation that occurred earlier this year. That particular violation had to do with throwing a party that included female cadets, cash from boosters, and VIP treatment on a party bus that included cheerleaders and a police escort.

The cheerleaders and female athletes from the basketball and volleyball teams were brought back in February to act as dates for recruits.

And, well, since you’re wondering, the football team is 2-5, still no improvement there.
