ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Casey Anthony’s parents are concerned that a purported video diary of their daughter circulating online could put her in harm’s way.
George and Cindy Anthony said in a statement Thursday that they hope their daughter is safe.
Casey Anthony is serving a year of probation at an undisclosed location in Florida on a check fraud charge. The 25-year-old was acquitted last July of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.
The origin of the video is unclear but the blonde, bobbed and bespectacled woman in it describes it as her “first video diary.”
She describes as “surreal” the changes in her life since the acquittal. She also says things are starting to look up for her.
The woman says a dog is keeping her company.
