Allegiant Jet Nearly Runs Out Of Fuel

Another nail-biting flight for passenger aboard an airline that flies out of the St. Petersburg-Clearwater airport.

An Allegiant jet had to make an emergency landing in Fargo North Dakota when pilots realized they only had three minutes of fuel left.

The plane landed without incident.

The Fargo airport was actually closed for Blue Angels training, but that fighter jet practice was delayed until the passenger jet landed.

The FAA is investigating.

Allegiant is gaining a national reputation for having to return to departure airports because of mechanical problems.
