Three elderly people ended up with their car in a lake in Sarasota Tuesday afternoon.
The people backed their Jeep Liberty into the lake on a property, according to the Sarasota Police Department. A nearby neighbor heard the car revving and he stepped outside and saw it go into the water.
He jumped in and helped the three individuals to safety. All three are safe and uninjured.
Police say the Jeep is completely submerged.
