28 Sexting Terms, Slang And Acronyms Parents Should Learn

Many parents are behind the times when it comes to slang. Some don’t even know the basics like “LOL” or “BRB.” But now teens have come up with more sophisicated ways to get around parents when sexting. Much more so than “be right back” or “laugh out loud.”

Have you ever heard of KPC or GYPO? “Keep parents clueless” or “Get your pants off?”

“There is a technology gap between the generations,” explained State Attorney Dave Aronberg, according to WFTS.

Dr. Aronberg says that this gap is allowing teens to get around their folks. Some, like 420 (marijuana), are easy. But others, like “53X” are more complicated to parents.

Here are 28 slang terms that parents should learn.
