Iowa is, of course, the state where the presidential primary/caucus season begins, and where back in 2008 a young upstart senator by the name of Barack Obama pulled an upset over then Sen. Hillary Clinton, on his way to winning the democratic nomination for president.
Clinton never recovered from that opening blow, and is there now for campaign events on Tuesday. That’s where we find ABC’s Aaron Katersky, in Cedar Rapids Tuesday morning. Sen. Marco Rubio will be heading there at some point as well, as will the rest of the GOP field, as the presidential focus sharpens on Iowa.
