MELBOURNE, Fla. (AP) — Florida Institute of Technology will remember four victims of a plane crash during two memorial services.
Two students, a flight instructor and a former student at the central Florida school died when their plane went down on Nov. 11, 2010, shortly after taking off from Palm Beach International Airport. Officials say the plane was on its way back to Melbourne after a training flight to the Bahamas.
Orlando’s 13 News reports the ceremonies will take place Thursday in Melbourne.
Killed in the crash were 21-year-old Jordyn Agostini, 26-year-old Dheni “Jenny” Frembling, 22-year-old Kristopher Joy Henegar and 26-year-old Kyle Henegar.
Reports indicate Kristopher Henegar was flying the twin engine plane with Frembling — the instructor — in the co-pilot’s seat. Henegar’s girlfriend and brother were also in the plane.
