A longtime local company is expanding and creating more than one hundred jobs at the same time in Hillsborough County.
Tampa Tank and Florida Structural Steel has announced plans for a new headquarters in Ybor City and improvements at its Port Redwing manufacturing facility near Gibsonton.
There will be a total of 108 new jobs between the two sites, mostly in manufacturing. As far as pay is concerned, workers will receive 150 percent of the average state wage.
$2 million in incentives from the city of Tampa and Hillsborough County stopped the company from expanding in the Bahamas instead.
