Two Arrested, Two Sought in Tampa Slaying

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Tampa police say they have arrested two people and are looking for two others in the slaying of a man found in a burning home last week.

Police said Monday that a 34-year-old man was arrested Saturday in Polk County, and a 19-year-old man was taken into custody Sunday in Orange County. They are charged with first-degree murder in the death of 64-year-old Richard Lee Blackman.

Blackman’s body was found in his burning home in Tampa early Thursday. Authorities have not yet released the cause of death.

Police said Monday they are looking for two other suspects and a vehicle seen in a surveillance video from a nearby convenience store. It’s a white, newer four-door vehicle, possibly a Hyundai.
