The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at a Spring Hill pain management clinic Tuesday morning and arrested one of the owners.
Lynn Hutchinson was arrested at the Hope Pain Management Group, 1250 Mariner Blvd., on three warrants charging her with unlicensed practice of a health care physician, unlawful practice of medicine and fraudulent representation of a practitioner to obtain a controlled substance.
The search warrant was served about 9 a.m. Tuesday by the Sheriff’s Office vice and narcotics unit. Sheriff’s spokeswoman Cpl. Wendy McGinnis said the search warrant and arrest were the result of a lengthy investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities on Tuesday morning were seizing all of the clinic’s records.
