First, let’s travel to our Nation’s Capitol where our friends at PBS know how to throw a party. “A Capitol Fourth,” (8 EDT/PDT) from Washington, D.C. The annual party at the U.S. Capitol will be hosted this year by John Stamos and include singers Carole King, The O’Jays and Vanessa Williams, as well as a visit from everyone’s favorite residents of “Sesame Street.”

Meanwhile, about a three hour drive up Interstate 95 in New York they have a tradition of their own. The “Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” will air on NBC at 8 EDT/PDT. The show will have musical performances from Luke Bryan and Khalid before the fireworks start over the East River in New York City.
