At least 5 people were shot and one dead after a shooting occurred at the Ft. Lauderdale Airport. Former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer tweeted that shots were fired and everyone was running.

Per Fleischer’s Twitter account, police informed him that there were 5 people shot and one shooter. Fleischer also said that they are not letting anyone out of the airport at this time. There have been some unconfirmed reports that 9 people were shot but law enforcement on the scene has yet to give an official count of what has happened.
