Replay: Hillary Clinton Campaign In Tampa Today

Hillary Clinton starts the final push for the White House in Tampa

By: Jim Williams – Washington Bureau Chief News Talk Florida

WASHINGTON – Starting today we will have live coverage of both the campaign of the Democratic nominee for president Hillary Clinton but also the Republican nominee Donald Trump. We will have all of their speeches streaming live but also a schedule of events for each campaign.

Tuesday Hillary Clinton will kick-off the post Labor Day run for the White House with a big rally in Tampa. She will have a rally schedule at the USF Student Recreation Center, 1:45 p.m. until 3 p.m. with the gates opening at 11:45 am.

Clinton is scheduled to discuss national security and her opponent, Republican Donald Trump.

This will be Clinton’s fourth visit to the Tampa Bay area this year and there will be more to come before November.

Her husband, former President Bill Clinton, will campaign in Orlando on Wednesday.

A Real Clear Politics average of all the polls has the race in the state of Florida with Clinton holding a slim lead of 2 percentage points over Republican nominee Donald Trump. So, clearly in this battle ground state the race is a dead-heat with both candidates expected to spend plenty of time and money in the Sunshine State.

The Clinton campaign will be traveling with a full press corp on board starting this week and going all the way through election day.

Here is a look at the events that are scheduled thus far and we do expect that there will be plenty of additions.
