At tonights Emmy Awards one of Top Drama Nominee’s is Bodyguard from Netflix. But in fairness, the show was a massive hit first on the BBC.
The man who created the Bodyguard is Jed Mercurio and I talk about the success he has had with not one but two hit shows. Of course the Bodyguard but one that is even more popular than tonight’s Emmy nominated show and that is Line of Duty streaming in the United States on ACORN TV.
As a matter of fact season, five of Line of Duty that is now on Acorn TV crushed everything else on TV in the U.K. The ratings were off the charts and it was the most-watched show on British TV so far in 2019.
The show is as exciting as Bodyguard and I highly recommend.
