Trump brings his new campaign to Tampa for a Fairgrounds date today
TAMPA – Donald Trump will bring his newly minted campaign back to the Tampa Bay area today with an event scheduled in Tampa. The Republican Presidential nominee, will be holding a rally at the Florida State Fairgrounds in the Entertainment Hall on August 24 at 1 p.m.
We will be covering all of the action live with reports airing on Florida Live with Dan Maduri starting at 3 pm. News Talk Florida will be filing reports live from the scene. We will also carry all of the festivities live starting at 1 pm right here.
For those wanting to attend the event the doors will open at approximately 10 am. Entry to the fairgrounds will be through the Main Gate off of US Highway 301.

According to the Associated Press and other media outlets Trump is scheduled to speak at the Florida State Fairgrounds at 1 p.m. He is also holding a private meeting, which may be at the fairgrounds.
“He’s touched and had more than 50,000 people attend his events, so I think what we are going to be hearing tomorrow is a more policy focused speech talking about the importance of Florida clearly being a key state in the race,” Trump surrogate Healy Baumgardner said.
“As we know, whenever Mr. Trump takes the microphone he has a commanding voice. He resonates with the America audience. He’s having conversations with them and addressing the concerns that they are talking about behind closed doors,” Baumgardner added.
Trump is expected to talk more about his demand for a special prosecutor to investigate Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s time as secretary of state. Trump has claimed the Clinton Foundation took donations in exchange for access during her the Hillary Clinton’s time as secretary of state.
