Florida Woman to Prison After Threatening Sandy Hook Parent

TAMPA — A Brandon woman will go to jail for making threats against the father of a Sandy Hook massacre victim.

Lucy Richards, 57, will serve five months behind bars and a further five months in home confinement after pleading guilty to interstate transmission of a threat to injure.

Richards made threats against Lenny Pozner via e-mail and voicemail, saying among other things that “you gonna die, death is coming to you real soon” and “look behind you it is death.”

Her lawyers say Richards had been looking at conspiracy theory websites and had decided that the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Conn. back in 2012 was a hoax.

Pozner’s 6 year old son Noah was one of 20 children and 6 adults shot to death by Adam Lanza.
