CBS Sports HQ Is Ready To Impress You Starting With Their Super Bowl Coverage NOW

CBS Sports HQ should be on your phone, tablet and connected device.

It is time for sports fans to get to know CBS Sports HQ a 24/7 free streaming service that is a must for all sports fans. You can find it the CBS Sports app at the App Store for iPhone users or at the Google Play store if you are living in an Android world and inside the app is CBS Sports HQ.

For those of you who own connected devices, you like ROKU, Amazon Fire Stick or Apple TV just go to the channel or app store and get it for free. I have it on both my ROKU and Amazon Fire Stick devices as well as it is part of my CBS All Access subscription.

As you might expect with CBS being the home for Super Bowl LIII the team at CBS Sports is getting ready for a major introduction to those who have not yet discovered this outstanding sports app.

For this week’s edition of Stream On with Jim Williams, my guest is Jeff Gerttula, EVP & GM of CBS Sports Digital. He is the man behind this ambitious and strong new platform.

Gerttula on his team’s goals this weekend “We are excited about being here in Atlanta and our goal is to introduce ourselves to the real sports fans. This could be the biggest streaming audience of all time. There is no doubt people would kill to get this audience and our plans to show people why they should be making CBS Sports HQ their new sports home.”

Gerttula about having the backing of the entire CBS network behind his Sports HQ platform. “There is no doubt when you have such a historic brand as CBS sports behind you that is all you can ask for. We also have had help from the news division where CBSN has proved that you can be a success as a streaming service.”

Listen to “Jeff Gerttula, EVP & GM of CBS Sports Digital talks all things Super Bowl” on Spreaker.

They will offer ten hours of pregame coverage and I suggest you download it on your phone and you can enjoy it all day long no matter where you are. As I said earlier I have the CBS Sports HQ app on ROKU and Amazon Fire Stick so I can stream it on my big screen TV.

Be sure to check in on their Sunday “Ten-hour pregame extravaganza.” Then check in after the game for their extended postgame show.

As part of a full lineup of game-day coverage, including live post-game highlights and analysis from the Mercedes-Benz Stadium field immediately following Sunday’s Los Angeles Rams vs. New England Patriots showdown, CBS Sports HQ will deliver the Sunday SportsLine Extravaganza, a daylong show chock-full of projections, analysis, and special guests.

CBS Sports Digital analysts, including Brady Quinn, Will Brinson, Pete Prisco, Bryant McFadden, Ryan Wilson, John Breech, Jamey Eisenberg and Kenny White, as well as celebrity guests like Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry and Georgia Tech long snapper Zach Roberts, will also partake in multiple Guinness World Records attempts, such as:

The farthest long snap of an American football

Most one-handed catches of an American football in one minute

Fastest time to assemble a Mr. Potato Head

Most soft toys caught blindfolded in one minute (with teams of two)

Most M&M’s/Smarties eaten in one minute with chopsticks

A Guinness World Records Adjudicator will be onsite to verify any records broken, and the pre-game show’s all-day coverage will extend onto social media.

Then stream for free Super Bowl LIII on or the CBS Sports app (available on most connected devices); also available on CBS All Access if you aren’t a subscriber takes the free one-week free trial it is a great app as well. Also, be sure to watch CBS Sports HQ for all the postgame as well.

You will also get to watch all the Super Bowl commercials will all air on the streaming of the game.

Immediately after the game and continuing until midnight Eastern, CBS Sports HQ will feature live reports from the field, highlights, reactions, and coverage of the post-game press conferences. Host Chris Hassel will be joined by Bryant McFadden, Pete Prisco, Brady Quinn, and others.
