Walking Dead’s Andrew Lincoln Says Season 5 Is “A Grown-Up Show”

Entertainment Weekly has come out with the new magazine covers of Season 5 of the Walking Dead Wednesday morning. And Andrew Lincoln, who plays the show’s main character Rick Grimes, has a warning for kids and families who choose to watch the show together.

“There are families that watch it together, but just so it’s on the record, guys—it’s a grown-up show this season,” Lincoln told the magazine. “We’re really earning our rating this season.”

Entertainment Weekly went and talked to the actors and producers to give us an inside preview of Season 5. Executive Producer Robert Kirkman says they will waste no time and come out with an action packed season right out of the box.

“By minute two or three of our season premiere, I think the vast majority of our questions have been answered,” says Kirkman, “and five or six more have been presented, so you’re very much going to be invested, well-informed, and ready for the ride that we’re going to take you on.”

But as for now, we can gawk at these glorious covers.
