The Walking Dead Cast Reacts To Season 5 Premiere

AMC premiered with a rather shocking explosion of events to open the fifth season of the popular show, The Walking Dead. There were many reports leading up to arguably the most anticipated premiere in television history saying the show is “not for children” this season. It may have caught a lot of people off guard how the show opened Season 5. (We won’t spoil it for those who may have DVR’d it.)

The cast was tweeting along with the millions of fans as they watched the premiere. Here are just a few of their tweets.

Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl, was probably the most active Sunday night. He says his Twitter broke. Not surprising considering he’s one of the show’s most beloved characters.

Steven Yeun, playing Glenn, took a picture of himself with Michael Cudlitz (Abraham Ford) and Chad Coleman (Tyreese) in what appears to be a giant watch party.

Chandler Riggs, the 15-year-old prodigy who plays Carl, had this to say. Simple enough.

Melissa McBride, who plays Carol, reminded the fans that your wait is over! Indeed it is. Executive Producer Scott Gimple didn’t fail to deliver either.
