Veep is back, Girls is leaving and the White Princess can’t be missed

HBO GO welcomes back Veep, says goodbye to Girls and Starz has the White Princess

This week’s streaming video features some really badass women who demand that you watch them. Not that we need any prodding to stream these shows.

Tonight it is the much anticipated return of the award winning comedy Veep. The popular Julia Louis Dreyfus show returns tonight on HBO – HBO GO and fans are happy to see it return.

There will be some changes as you may recall. Selina lost the presidency last we saw so now she is out to decide what life after living in the White House is like.

Will she get her legacy? (THE PROMO HAS STRONG LANGUAGE)

The show moves from Washington, D.C. to New York and while she is finding out what life after be president is like. Don’t worry everyone is still the same foul mouth, mostly terrible people they were while they were in the White House, they just moved to New York.

Before Veep returns tonight on HBO –HBO GO it will be the series final episode of the wonderful series Girls, which will air tonight at 10 p.m.  It’s been six seasons of drama, breakups, make ups, fights, pregnancy scares, gay dads coming out of the closet and failed marriages and tonight, there’s only one thing left to cover: what the hell is Hannah going to do with her life?

The show has made a mega star out of Lena Dunham, she has been the anti Sex in the City women. Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet and Adam Driver, have all become part of our lives of the past six years.

Dunham told Variety: “I can’t imagine a more fulfilling creative experience than ‘Girls.’ The freedom and support that HBO has given Jenni, Judd and me is something rare and beautiful. The commitment and originality of our actors has been stunning, and our crew is truly my family. I conceived of ‘Girls’ when I was 23 and now I’m nearly 30 — the show has quite perfectly spanned my 20s, the period of time that it’s about — and so it feels like the right time to wrap our story up. We look forward to creating a sixth season that will honor our amazing cast, crew and fans. And in the ‘Girls’ universe, nothing ever ends too neatly.”

Lastly, as we close out our streaming video column we need to bring to your attention Starz’s new romantic drama The White Princess. It is the next outstanding period drama that picks right up where The White Queen left off.

You will be captivated by Jodie Comer, who is outstanding as Elizabeth of York, the crafty princess, a smart and impassioned beauty who is forced to marry Henry VII, aka the man who killed her one true love.

This show has it all beautiful women, handsome men, great storylines, that unfolds in a wonderful drama full of scheming, sensuality, and old fashioned betrayal.

So what is not too like!

Remember as always that if you have not seen any of these shows then you can binge your way and catch up at your leisure.
