USA’s “Burn Notice” finishes its seven-year run Thursday night at 9, and producers are warning fans that for all the fun the show has had over the years, everyone won’t necessarily live happily ever after.
“Burn Notice” has tracked the story of Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan), a former CIA agent who was “burned” — turned into a nonperson with no job, no assets and no explanation of why.
With the help of a makeshift posse that include his action-happy ex-girlfriend Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) and his shady old pal Sam Axe (Bruce Campbell), Jeffrey has roamed Miami and beyond trying to sort it all out.
As we enter the final episode, he seems close to doing that. But getting the answers and moving on, says show creator Matt Nix, may force Michael to choose what parts of his life — job, family, whatever — are most important to him.
