The Inaugural Gasparilla Music Festival launches Saturday March 10 in downtown Tampa with 20 bandson 3 stages and incredible food from a dozen of the bay area’s finest restaurants and food trucks.

The Gasparilla Music Festival celebrates the best of Tampa Bay’s diverse musical acts alongside nationally recognized headliners. GMF will debut in downtown Tampa’s Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and Kiley Gardens the weekend of March 10 2012. Gasparilla Music Festival is organized by the Gasparilla Music Festival Corporation, a Florida non-profit corporation (501-C3 pending), whose mission is to create a sustainable community event for the Tampa Bay region while benefiting local musicians, organizations and businesses.

Featured bands include the Grammy award winning Rebirth Brass Band from New Orleans, Ra Ra Riot, Deer Tick, Lee Fields and the Expressions, Tortured Soul, Alvin, Young Blood, Hart, The Lee Boys, Spam All Stars, HGWT, Kaleigh Baker and The Groves.
