Patricia Arquette Common Sense Approach to Oscar Speech

HOLLYWOOD – While watching Sunday night’s Oscars 2015 I noticed the annual awards show is certainly keeping up its reputation as an open mic for actors promoting causes.

To wit, Patricia Arquette, who launched into a brief speech about equal pay for women after picking up her Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Arquette claims that women have fought for equal rights for gays and minorities and now it is time for them to return the favor.
