‘N Sync Is Back!

Looks like ‘N Sync may soon be tearing up our hearts on the VMA stage.

The boybanders—including Justin Timberlake, J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatoneand Chris Kirkpatrick—will reportedly reunite for a special performance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday.

Timberlake is already scheduled to perform after receiving the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, where his former bandmates are expected to join the “Suit & Tie” heartthrob for a surprise performance onstage, according to the New York Post.

Us Weekly also reports MTV producers are “trying to make it happen,” insisting the reunion is “coming together.”

If the ’90s hitmakers do take the stage together, it will be one of the pop group’s first performances since announcing their hiatus in 2002 after the band’s Celebrity tour.

They last performed together in 2004, singing the “The Star Spangled Banner” at the Annual Challenge for Children, while their last televised performance together was a Bee Gees medley at the 2003 Grammy Awards.
