The Treasure Island Police Department is investigating the theft of an inflatable advertisement display from the 10400 block of the Treasure Island Beach.
The theft occurred on Saturday evening, November 19, 2011. The City of Treasure Island hosted a three day Sand Ovations event on the beach, and to promote the event, Great Bay Distributors had erected a 30 foot, inflatable Bud Light Bottle.
The expensive display is a 30 feet tall, inflatable Bud Light bottle with logo and includes a portable, electric blower. Its estimated value is $5000.
Police Department Investigators have leads, but would prefer the return of the display at the request of the owner.
