March Madness Will Cost Employers $1.9 Billion in Work Production

MARCH MADNESS – Employment firm Challenger, Gray, and Christmas crunched the numbers on the month long NCAA basketball tournament. By their calculations, 50 million Americans will craft a bracket. Multiply that by an average hourly wage of $24.31. And there’s the potential loss of $1.2 billion for every unproductive work hour.

Employers continue to face challenges when it comes to having their employees focus on work and ignore the never ending entertainment noise.
