InTouch magazine was the first to report yesterday that according to “multiple sources … Katie Holmes has embarked on a new romance with her ex-husband’s close friend, actor Jamie Foxx.” The magazine couldn’t help but make a punny Tom Cruise reference, adding that both Holmes and Foxx “are very ‘Mission: Impossible’ about their romance.”

Though this isn’t the first time the two are romantically linked — back in August, they danced in close enough proximity to each other to spark romance rumors — Foxx himself has denied the rumors last night. The Oscar winning actor told “Entertainment Tonight”: “[The rumors] are one hundred percent not true. In fact, it’s quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people.”
