Betty White Turns 95 Today
America’s golden girl turns 95 today. Betty White has reached another milestone in a career that has spanned over 70 years and she doesn’t appear to be done yet.
Perhaps most widely known for her role as Rose Nylund on “The Golden Girls,” White’s career has seemed to continue to strive in her “golden years.”
It’s been 55 years since her television and film breakout role in “Advise & Consent” and last year she stole the Super Bowl 50 spotlight with her awesome dabbing skills.
With age White seemed to become more and more impressive. Going Sandra Bullock in 2009 to star in “The Proposal” and then going on to host “Saturday Night Live,” White has had a career that not many can compete with.
In fact, in 2013 the Guinness Book of World Records recognized white as having the longest TV career for any female entertainer.
Of course White had to one up that even further by becoming a star in the TV series “Hot in Cleveland” which ran until 2015.
