Guests from Ocean Conservancy join David Jolly: Unbiased and Unplugged – 12/07/18

In this Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016 photo, Trent Lukaczyk, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) engineer who builds and flies drones to monitor changes in the ocean environment, controls a DJI Phantom 3 Advanced drone to take photos and videos over the coastline in Pacifica, Calif. Starting this month, The Nature Conservancy is asking tech junkies to capture the flooding and coastal erosion that come with El Nino, a weather pattern that’s bringing California its wettest winter in years, and all in the name of science. On today’s show, David stays on top of the news of the day.  Trump nominates William Barr to be his next attorney general.   Then he picked Heather Nauert as U.N. ambassador.

David also breaks down the politics of climate science.  He spoke with George Leonard, Chief Scientist, and Jeff Watters, Director of Government Relations from Ocean Conservancy. They discussed the research findings from the 4th national climate report. They also answer listener questions about climate change.

Listen to David Jolly: Unbiased and Unplugged every weekday from 1-3 on AM 820 News and 98.3 FM in Pinellas County.
