Food Talk: Paul Turano, Ellie Alexander

Miss part of the show? Here’s a recap of Food Talk with Kim Bailey from Saturday, July 18, 2015.

Kim spoke to chef Paul Turano, who received his degree in culinary arts from Newbury College in 1995, and currently resides in the Greater Boston area with his wife and two children. The chef of Arlington, Massachusetts-based Tryst, which opened in 2004, describes his cooking style as “accessible” and “unpretentious.” The casual menu at Tryst has earned Turano accolades including glowing reviews from the Boston Globe and the Boston Herald, and “Best New Restaurant” from Boston magazine.

We also talked with Ellie Alexander, who writes a culinary mystery series (The Bakeshop Mysteries) for St. Martin’s Press.
