The top rated late night show hosted by Fallon are having fun in Central Florida
Having The Tonight Show, in Orlando is a great thing and the shows popular host Jimmy Fallon is having fun. He came to town to celebrate the grand opening of his signature virtual reality ride.
The ride, called “Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon,” will give guests the ultimate Tonight Show experience as they get to race the host through the streets of New York City via virtual reality simulator.
We are in day two of the shows and last night was a big hit as Fallon had a couple of big guests. When we say big we mean big, Vin Diesel and Shaquille O’Neal.
Tonight one of the show’s regular guests Blake Shelton will be the musical performer. He will be joined on the show by Scott Eastwood, and on Wednesday Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will appear alongside Nicole Richie (with a musical performance by Flo Rida featuring 99 Percent).
Then The Tonight Show, will wrap up their visit to Central Florida bring the popular Jay Leno, who of course sat in the hosts chair before Fallon got the job. He will be joined by musical performance by Jason Derulo featuring Ty Dolla $ign.
Orlando is hosting the top late night television show in the ratings. The Tonight Show, has won the late-night ratings week of March 20-24 in every key ratings demographic – adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 — according to “live plus same day” results from Nielsen Media Research. For the week, “Tonight” delivered its strongest total-viewer finish relative to CBS’ “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” since the week of Jan. 30, with “Tonight’s” average of 2.736 million viewers finishing within 32,000 of “Late Show’s” 2.768 million. Note that CBS’ Thursday and Friday telecasts are excluded from the weekly averages due to NCAA BASKETBALL overruns. It was Fallon’s closest finish to “Late Show” in total viewers since a 12,000-person gap the week of Jan. 30-Feb. 3 (2.759 for “Tonight,” 2.771 for “Late Show”).
