HOLLYWOOD – Iconic film star Dustin Hoffman believes that cinema is the worst it has been in 50 years.
This maybe the case as Hollywood has seen a shift away from creatives that love films being studio executives to Harvard graduate businessmen running things. People who only seen margins and bottom lines thinking about franchising, merchandising and internationally appeal not caring if it is good storytelling.
Toys drive the film industry and you cater to international markets you get terrible films. And you get at least 29 superhero films in the next six years. Superhero fatigue will come and panic will set in.
