Disney World Raises Admission Prices

Just a few weeks after Universal Orlando upped its ticket price past the $90 threshold, Disney World has responded with its own increase, just in time for summer.

A one-day ticket to the Magic Kingdom now costs $95, plus tax, for adults and $89 for children ages 3 to 9. That’s a boost of $6 per ticket. It also upped the price of multi-day tickets.

The good news, if there is any, is that the cost of a one-day ticket to Disney’s other Orlando parks, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, just went up a dollar to $90 for adults and $84 for children.

The move wasn’t unexpected and comes after Universal upped the cost of its one-day, one-day ticket three bucks to $92, plus tax. The increase made Universal the first Orlando theme park to surpass the $90 mark.
