Variety reports that a man was arrested Wednesday night after physically attacking Brad Pitt at the world premiere of “Maleficent,” starring Pitt’s partner Angelina Jolie.
Per the report, witnesses saw the individual, later identified as celeb prankster Vitalii Sediuk, jump the security barriers while Pitt and Jolie were signing autographs in front of the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. The man allegedly slapped Pitt in the face.

Security guards held the 25-year-old suspect until the LAPD could take him into custody. LAPD Sgt. Leonard Calderon said he was taken to the Hollywood police station where Sediuk was arrested and booked on suspicion of misdemeanor battery.
He is being held on $20,000 bail.
