‘Bill Cosby Paid Off Women’ Claims Ex-NBC Employee

Former NBC employee Frank Scotti claims Bill Cosby asked him to deliver monthly payments to eight women between 1989 – 1990.

Scotti worked as a facilities manager at the Brooklyn studio where The Cosby Show was filmed and claims that Cosby had him hand out monthly payments of up to $2000 to these eight women.

“He had everybody fooled,” Scotti said. “Nobody suspected.”

He saved copies of the money orders for four women and speculates that Cosby was sleeping with all of the women that were getting money.

“He was covering himself by having my name on it,” he said. “It was a coverup. I realized it later.”

One of the women on the receipts is Shawn Thompson. Despite Cosby’s denial of the paternity claim, Thompson’s daughter Autumn Jackson has alleged that Cosby is her father. After their alleged affair started in 1974, Thompson reportedly received more than $100,000 from Cosby.

Angela Leslie, who says Cosby allegedly rubbed her hand on his penis in a Las Vegas hotel in 1992, was also named on the receipts of payments. Leslie said the money was for a plane ticket to California, two years before the alleged hotel incident. Leslie says that she got sick and return the ticket.

Another woman named on the receipts was contacted by the New York Daily News and said that the payments covered her son’s private school tuition.

Scotti claims that a New York City modeling agency would send women to Cosby’s dressing room.

“‘I want you to keep that one girl here,’ ” Scotti recalled Cosby telling him, saying he wanted to discuss a role on the show with her. “Then he’d tell me, ‘Stand outside the door and don’t let anyone in.’ ”

Scotti said that some of the models that met with Cosby were as young as 16 and that Cosby had him find an apartment for one of the models from the agency. Scotti claims that he left the show because of the tasks that Cosby was having him do.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marty Singer, Cosby’s attorney, has dismissed Scotti’s allegations.

“How would Scotti know if a woman was a model or a secretary?” Singer stated. “It appears that his story is pure speculation so that he can get his 15 minutes of fame.” Singer also commented on the numerous abuse claims against Cosby, saying they are “utter nonsense.”
