FX released the official art for American Horror Story: Coven today and no surprise here: It’s both creepy and sexy. Which is what we’re looking for when it comes to that show.
Coven, which is set to premiere Oct. 9 at 10 p.m., stars Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Angela Basset and Sarah Paulson and will have a very bewitching premise, as well as a lighter look. Executive producer Tim Minear previewed the FX series during the TCA Summer Press Tour in August.
“This year is a drama, but there is a lot of humor. We are embracing a kind of velocity and fun with the series this year,” he said. “This is going to be the most friendly place for women on television this year. Friendly, until we do the things we do.”
