Good morning! Here’s what’s on tap today for Your Wake Up Call on AM 820 News (Tampa Bay) and 1190 News (Orlando).

In a stunning upset, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor was beaten by David Brat, a Tea Party-backed economics professor in the Virginia primary. We talk about how this reflects the Republican party’s changing policy and direction, particularly when it comes to immigration.

Immigration has been a hot topic on our show lately. We talk about the issue, particularly as it pertains to the DREAM Act, designed to give legal status to undocumented minors.

At 7:10, we’ll be joined by ABC News White House correspondent Ann Compton to talk about Speaker John Boehner’s harsh criticism of the the release of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl in exchange for five Taliban prisoners. We talk with her about the latest with that ongoing situation.

At 7:35, we will be joined by ABC News correspondent Scott Goldberg to discuss a recent ruling in California court over tenure for ineffective teachers.

A student opened fire at a high school near Portland, Oregon, killing another student before taking his own life. We talk about the ongoing issue of guns and schools.

At 8:25 ABC News correspondent Tom Rivers joins us to talk about Iraq militants’ seizure of Mosul, Iraq’s second-largest city. It freed up to 1,000 prisoners. Militants also seized control of the city’s airport, local TV stations and governor’s offices.
