Plant High School Student Arrested For False Bomb Threat

On Monday at approximately 12:30pm, 18-year-old Anna Speights of Plant High School in Tampa was arrested and charged with making a false bomb threat after she wrote that she was going to blow up the school with pencil on a bathroom stall. She also made similar threats on her Twitter account, police said.

Later that day, the school announced a Crime Stoppers reward up $500 on the P.A. system. As a result of the announcement, a student called in a tip that led detectives to the suspect. She confessed to writing the threat saying she was angry she was suspended from he school bus for 10 days.
