A fire broke out at two Tampa Bay Business this morning.

The first one was at the Babylon Hookah Lounge.

Fire fighters responded to the call say a fire broke out just after 12:30 a.m. at the lounge, located at 4812 East Busch Boulevard.

It took about two hours for crews to get the fire under control.

There were no reports of injuries.

Officials are trying to determine the cause of the fire.

Tampa Fire Rescue also responded to a two alarm fire at the Petra Restaurant right next to the Babylon Hookah Lounge also at 4812 East Busch Boulevard.

The initial call came in at 12:37AM early Friday and fire crews arrived on scene within three minutes.

Firefighters reported heavy smoke coming from the two story strip mall as they were approaching the scene and they called for the additional units because of the size of the structure.

The crews had to force open the rear door of the restaurant in order to locate and contain the fire.

It took firefighters approximately forty minutes to get the fire under control. No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported.

Fire investigator Joe Hotz with the Fire Marshal’s office determined the fire to be accidental in nature and damage estimates came in at 90 thousand.

Approximately 35 firefighters were on scene.

I agree with the posts above, this is false information and it’s damaging to the reputation of the coffee shop. I was there inside the coffee shop when it happened and I video taped the whole thing, you can clearly see the smoke coming up from the building but not from the coffee shop at all. It’s up and running but unfortunately it was the restaurant next to it that had the fire.
